        美国时间2月28日晚上，在“美国偶像”节目中，节目主持人Ryan Seacrest 激动的宣布了Mariah Carey今年将作为嘉宾出席"Idol Gives Back" 的特别晚会。去年该晚上筹得善款七千万美元，用于帮助美国和非洲地区的的贫困儿童。

    今年的晚会将于2008年4月9日举行！

Mariah to Appear on "Idol Gives Back"  
On tonight's episode of "American Idol" (Fox), host Ryan Seacrest announced that Mariah will be one of the participants in this year's "Idol Gives Back" TV Special. Last year's special telecast raised over $70 million that went towards helping children and young people in extreme poverty in the U.S. and in Africa.

This year's show will be broadcast live on April 9, 2008.
