Everyone likes boy bands, right? I mean, everyone goes through that phase. Girls with their "Tiger Beat" cut outs in their lockers, boys performing their synchronized dance moves in middle school talent shows. It's a phase at most, a fad 1997. (Full disclosure: I was an N'sync fan. Yeah.)

Pangs of everything from Justin Timberlake's solo stuff (i.e. Timbaland's production), T.I., Sean Kingston, Akon, Ne-Yo, Lady Gaga鈥? pretty much everything that's huge in the Z100 sphere of influence has a bit of a voice on the album.

The vocals are classic, if not cliché Backstreet Boys. Close your eyes and put on any of the tracks, and you can just feel them lined up in front of you in a straight line, each one stepping up to spit their lyrics while the rest dance in unison in the background.
这就是人们想要听到的。音乐风格的多元化使得每一首歌听起来都充满新鲜感。It's exactly what one would expect to hear. But the various musical influences bouncing around help to keep each track fresh and interesting.

It's everything you remember from the past, and it still sounds just as good.
歌词的内容对于男孩组合而言较为合适，但对于青少年而言也许过于成熟了，例如PDA。他们坦言，当他们罗曼蒂克地诠释着“我们亲吻，用我的双手轻抚你”时，想要得到其他人的羡慕。The lyrical content is general boy band fare, though at times it feels more adolescent than juvenile鈥?but it's not grown up. Take "PDA" for example. They confess that they want to make everyone else jealous as they romantically reflect on times when they're "kissing and touching with my hands all over (her) booty." Classy.
"She's a Dream" 这首歌或多或少地给我们这样一组画面：他们同一个根本不知道他们（是知名歌手）的女孩相爱了，看来她似乎一直过着与世隔绝的生活。"She's a Dream" is a similar WTF moment as the song more or less plays out the scenario that they're with a girl who has no idea that they're famous. Apparently she lives under a rock.
但凭心而论，其实你根本不必在意他们在唱些什么。和声部分很紧凑，你可以在末尾跟着一起哼唱。他们声音的配合十分默契，完美的高音，很容易俘获你的心。But honestly, you won't care what they're singing about. The choruses are amazingly tight, and you'll be singing them by the end of each song. The interplay of their vocals are just fantastic, pitch perfect and easy to like.
爱后街，毋庸置疑！上网购买他们的新专辑吧，在你的播放器里播放、用你的双耳去聆听吧！我不会怀疑你的品位！And it is alright to like the Backstreet Boys. Just buy the album online, put it on your mp3 player and listen in the privacy of your own ears. I certainly won't judge you.
